Festival of Projects

We invite you to the Festival of Projects —the flagship event of the International Olympiad on Climate Change and Environmental Issues, where young researchers from around the world will present their innovative solutions for environmental conservation!

Each delegation participating in the Olympiad will prepare and present one project addressing a pressing environmental issue. The presentation format will be a poster session—a dynamic and interactive way to share ideas and findings.

The Festival of Projects is an obligatory element of the Olympiad, though it has no bearing on the final results.
  • What is a Poster Session?
A poster session is an engaging space where participants showcase their projects through informative and visually appealing posters. This is a great opportunity to visually communicate the essence of your research, its methods, and results, while also networking with fellow participants and jury members. The success of your project depends not only on its scientific merit but also on your ability to present it effectively—both visually and verbally.
  • How Will the Poster Session Work?

The poster session consists of two parts:
    1. Brief Project Pitch (2 minutes): Each delegation will present their project in English, concisely and persuasively summarizing the key ideas and research outcomes.
    2. Interactive Session: Jury members and other participants will review the posters, ask questions, and discuss the results. This is a valuable opportunity to receive feedback and establish international collaborations.
  • Poster Requirements:
Template Compliance: Posters must follow the provided template.
Language: Content must be in English.
    Format: A0 (841×1189 mm).
    Orientation: Portrait (vertical).
Title: No more than two lines.
Affiliation: All authors must list their affiliation (country represented).
Font: Main text should be in Calibri, minimum 18 pt.
  • Mandatory Poster Sections:
Research Objective: A clearly defined goal of your project.
Materials and Methods: A detailed description of the materials and methods used.
Results and Interpretation: Presentation and scientific interpretation of findings.
Conclusions: A summary of key takeaways from the research.
  • Submission Deadline:
Each delegation must submit their project in PDF format to ioce@siriusolymp.ru by August 29, 2025.
